“46th Historic Bristol Day on Saturday, October 15, 2022 will be dedicated to Catherine McCarry, a beloved lifelong Bristol Borough resident who was a former board member of BCHF and HBD chairperson,” confirmed chairpersons, Mary Gesualdi and Nicholas A. Rizzo.








Brake for Bristol Day from 10:00 –4:00 PM for the 46th Annual HBD, sponsored by the Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation, celebrating its rich history. Come for a day of fun!
Historic Bristol Day is always the third Saturday in October when the trees begin to take on a multi-golden hue, and front steps are home to color-rich chrysanthemums.

BCHF is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving over 3 centuries of Bristol's history and increasing cultural opportunities for all residents of the community, promoting pride which translates into helping and enhancing the treasure that has been inherited.

The HBD festival is a fun-filled, high energy, active learning event for ALL ages featuring entertainment, historical tours, vendors, crafters, a totally amazing car show, food court, walking tours, house tours, historic buildings opened to the public, entertainment, a sailing regatta, an antique boat show, a myriad of children's activities, and so very much more!

Bristol Day is chock full of colonial like entertainment including music, dance, living history, children's games and particularly delicious festive food.

Bid in the silent auction for an original artwork by this award winning, accomplished Bucks County artist. Look for the table on Radcliffe Street. 

Each time-honored traditional event and exhibit is well worth a stop, so poke around in all of the presentations, and enjoy the food, friendship and fun.

Vendors are cordially invited to display and sell their particular crafts. The participation fee for a 10 x 10 space [all spaces will be the same size] is $70.00 for business or crafters. There is a fee of $30 for non-profit tables. 
The craft fair has become one of the HBD highlights, drawing many visitors to this picturesque, historic riverfront town.
Preliminary plans are to place the vendors in the 200 and 300 blocks of Radcliffe Street which will be closed to vehicular traffic from early morning to 5 p.m.
Participants are to arrive in time to have their displays complete, attended to and open to the public by 9:30 a.m. *Between 8 and 11 a.m., complimentary refreshments will be served to vendors at BCHF headquarters, 321 Cedar Street.

It’s coming….
The 46th Annual Historic Bristol Day on Saturday, October 15, 2022, sponsored by the Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation, honoring Catherine McCarry, a beloved lifelong Bristol Borough resident, will be held from 10:00 –4:00 PM.

BCHF is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving over 3 centuries of Bristol's history and increasing cultural opportunities for all residents of the community, promoting pride which translates into helping and enhancing the treasure that has been inherited.

Historic Bristol on the Delaware has been a site of recreation venues for the people of the area for centuries and one event in particular is reminiscent of the great fairs held in town during the colonial period.
There are a plethora of LAND & WATER plusses in attending an annual event in this beautiful riverside town.

The 11th Annual HBD Car Show at Snyder - Girotti School, 450 Beaver Street will be held from 10AM to 3PM. This renowned show will as always include all American and foreign antiques, classics, newer Corvettes, Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, T-Birds, street rods, exotics, luxury cars, and more. Attendees are invited to vote for their choices of favorite antique and classic car and People's Choice trophies will be awarded based on voting results. 
A new feature has been added this year to give attendees a taste of what car guys did back in the sixties when leaded gas was about 28 cents per gallon for regular and 32 cents per gallon for hi –test, filling a tank for $5 or $6 and cruising around Bristol all night. At 3 PM after distribution of the trophies and chancing off restaurant gift certificates, a police escorted cruise through Bristol will begin. Younger participants can get a flash back to the sixties when muscle cars ruled the road!

All aboard!
The Schooner North Wind, a 75-foot premiere sailing tall ship charter vessel, owned by the Gloucester City Sail [GCS], a volunteer lead NJ non-profit, will provide public sails during this scenic Delaware River family event. Captain Scott Hughes and his crew will take up to 30 passengers on one-hour cruises leaving from the Bristol Wharf at 10:30am, noon, 2:00pm and 3:30pm. Adult tickets are $20, and tickets for children [under 12] are $10. 
Help raise the sails and sing a traditional folk sea shanty/chanty [derived from the French verb ‘chanter’, meaning ‘to sing'], or just sit back and enjoy sailing and seeing the town from a different perspective.

‘Open House’ for these must-see tours is provided from 10:00AM to 4:00PM on Oct. 15th. Ticket price is $12 in advance, and $15 on the day of the event and includes entrance to the Annual Tea.

The 46th Annual Historic Bristol Day will be this Saturday, October 15, 2022, sponsored by the Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation, honoring Catherine McCarry, a beloved lifelong Bristol Borough resident and BCHF Board member, will be held from 10:00 –4:00 PM.

Come for a day of F-U-N! Always the Third Saturday in October!
Historic Bristol Day is a wonderful, budget-friendly outing that includes a myriad of family oriented events and activities, featuring open houses, historical tours, crafters and vendors, a riverfront tea, entertainment, an eclectic food court, an amazing car show, a sailing regatta, an antique boat show, children's activities and a food court by the lovely Delaware River.

The TOWN CRIER will stroll the 200-300 blocks of Radcliffe intermittently between 11:00AM-3:00PM announcing the day’s events.

11:00-11:45AM Bracken Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Alumni Corps, *the original corps defined post World War II America during the 1930’s-40’s with music that was patriotic, loyal to America and loud!

March on… they HAVE returned! 
10:00AM-3:00PM Colonel Ogden's First New Jersey Regiment, a 501(c)(3) charity, portraying an actual Revolutionary War Continental army unit, will be primarily centered in the Riverfront Park, but you may just find them interacting with the crowds and marching along Radcliffe Street.








Dig in! 
10:00AM- 4:00PM *This year’s Archaeological Excavation will build on prior efforts conducted in the grassy yard around the Friends Meeting House that was originally built between 1711 and 1713, at the corner of Wood and Market Streets. It will be open to the public for both kids and adults who will be encouraged to participate and learn more about Bristol’s past with Bristol’s own Archaeologist Jesse Walker!
