It’s PLAY time again at Villa Joseph Marie, the premier, private, all-girls college preparatory academically comprehensive experience in Bucks County. Welcome to their new, state-of-the-art, 600- person seating capacity Performing Arts Center [PAC] auditorium.

*April 1-3 and 8-10, 2022 *Fridays and Saturdays: 7:00PM, Sundays: 2:00PM*
The PAC is the perfect venue for theater performances, recitals, and presentations!

The Fine Arts Department at Villa Joseph Marie offers a growing, most cohesive program that encourages interdisciplinary communication among its faculty and exposes students to all of the creative arts disciplines. Through the VJM Drama curriculum, students are exposed to the basics of theater and a sampling of acting, improvising, script-writing, production, and technical work.

All of the young actors are genuinely excited to perform for their peers and the community.

Frozen JR. is an enchanting modern classic from Disney based on the 2018 Broadway musical that effectively brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage.
This story of true love and acceptance between sisters is excellent for a younger audience and it will take the attentive viewers by SNOWstorm, thawing even the coldest heart.
Full costumes are permitted for guests 13-years-old & younger.

VJM Performing Arts Administrator/ Fine Arts Chair, Mrs. Melissa Holdren, and her talented, vivacious cast from the all-girls student body ‘called in reinforcements’ from local schools including Holy Ghost, Archbishop Wood, Pennsbury HS, and Father Judge for the male roles.

Brunch with the Characters! [April 3rd Brunch tickets are SOLD OUT] and Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Brunch prior to the matinee shows: 12:00–1:30 p.m., Performance: 2:00 p.m.
Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff will be available for photos, and the children can participate in Frozen-themed activities with the students throughout the brunch. 
The delicious kid-friendly buffet includes French Toast Sticks with Maple Syrup, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Red Skin Breakfast Potatoes, Chicken Fingers, and Assorted Wraps.

Tickets must be purchased online, but ticket sales will stay open until showtime providing that the show has not been sold out. NO tickets will be sold at the door.
*Under 2 are free but are considered lap children and will not have their own designated seat at the brunch or show. If his/her own seat is preferred, please purchase an "under 13" ticket.

The entire engaging cast of Frozen JR charmingly performs with BIG personalities and a unique, capturing stage presence that will win the crowd. 

Meet some of the leaders at the PAC!

Callie Henrysen ’22 with her intense drive and positivity adeptly plays the bubbly blonde character in most musicals in which she performs. She will portray “Elsa”, the fictional character who was born with the powers to manipulate ice and snow.
“I like being on stage,” confirmed Callie, who has been involved in theatre and music since the 4th grade. She has been studying at Wonderland Music & Arts studio under Lindsay Hoppock, the Founding Director/Voice & Piano Teacher, and a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. 








Anna K. Schmidt '22 began performing in the 2nd grade as Marta in “The Sound of Music”.
She has played guitar, preferring classic rock, and she studies at the School of Rock in Newtown.
“I’ve been performing in the Villa plays since my sophomore year.”
Anna also delights the entire VJM community with her weekly “Sundays with Schmidt” on the VJM Instagram.
She will be performing as Elsa and assisting the stage crew on her off nights.
Anna is considering Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY to further her education in communications.








Paige E. Veneziale ’23 is a VJM Student Council homeroom rep, a member of the Diamond Key Club and 
the Tri-M [music honor society], and the publicist on the drama board. She enjoys theatre and loves art!
Some of her realistic color pencil art pieces are displayed at the BCIU and she also participates in the Chalfont Parks & Recreation programs.
Paige will be singing solo and dancing as Anna.
“For the First Time in Forever” is my favorite piece, she confirmed.







Abbigail M. Turco ’24 is also a VJM Student Council homeroom rep, a member of the Diamond Key Club, and she plays the cello in the All-Catholic Orchestra. Abbi has also earned medals at the Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair. 
She will be performing as the young Anna, singing a "Do You Want To Build A Snowman?" solo.
“It will be a lot of fun with wands for the little kids!” Abbi shared.
Her younger sister, Cienna R. Turco '25 will perform in the ensemble.







*Wands will be available for purchase before the show and the audience will be asked to turn on their lights and wands for an added fun experience during “Let It Go.”*

Eden E. Rosini ‘25 is a vocal scholarship recipient, a member of the VJM Choral, the Diamond Key Club, and the Community Service Corps. She has a joy and love for music and she takes private singing lessons. “Pop and musical theatre songs are my favorites!” Eden shared, “VJM just feels like home and is so very welcoming.” 
Her twin brother, Cole, attends Holy Ghost Prep. 
Eden‘s roles will be a character in the Hidden Folk, and she will also portray a Townsperson.

Facial coverings are optional inside Villa Joseph Marie. Their mask optional policy allows individuals who are vaccinated to unmask if preferred; those who are not vaccinated should remain masked. Vaccination cards will not be checked.
