The Children Are Our Future
Fill in the form below to nominate a candidate

“The Children Are Our Future” interviews are open to High School students living in
historic Bristol on the Delaware.

Do you know a Bristol Borough youth whose accomplishments you feel should be spotlighted in a Bristol Pilot “The Children Are Our Future” article?

To qualify for a spotlight article, candidates are evaluated on their achievements in scholastics, sports, the arts and community service. The objective of these articles is to introduce Bristolians as well as the national and international community to some future leaders in these areas.

While today’s parents and teachers [teach them well and let them lead the way], community recognition is some of the juice that helps them stay energized and excited as they reinvest themselves in the next task and the next project to make the world a better place both today and tomorrow.

Spotlighting achievers is intended to attract and encourage more youth to stretch their vision for their own potential, see possibilities beyond their current circumstances, and believe that they can pursue and accomplish their dreams.

The author of these articles believes that everyone has a special spark of potential greatness that comes with birth. When young adult achievements represent an ongoing pursuit of personal excellence aimed at causing a positive impact on the community, the author’s desire is to help [show them all the beauty they possess inside, give them a sense of pride to make it easier and remind us how we used to be].
